Vital Outdoors Gives

Vital Outdoors Gives is the charitable arm of Vital Outdoors. The Vital Outdoors Gives mission is to give back to the communities we serve. Vital Outdoors donates to various charities throughout the year to benefit these non-profit organizations.

Donations/Sponsorships

We are looking forward to increasing our charitable giving, and fulfilling more donation requests in our communities. If you would like to be considered as an event partner please send us your donation request at least 90 days prior to your event. Due to demand, we can only review those donation request/applications that meet the 90-day requirement.

*Before submitting your donation request, please verify that it meets the following requirements:

  • – Donation is for a non-profit organization with IRS 501(c)3 status.
  • – The donation request is for a non-monetary gift.
  • – There are at least 90 days before the donation is needed.

We do not make donations toward the following:

  • – Individuals
  • – Travel expenses
  • – Political campaigns
  • – Monetary requests

Building A Better Golden

It would be difficult to find a family living in Golden who has not been positively impacted in some fashion by the Golden Civic Foundation’s charitable work. Started in 1970, more than two generations of Golden’s citizens have benefited from the GCF’s participation in community life. From the downtown streetscape and public art that graces city streets and walking paths, the sponsorship of community events and the support of downtown revitalization efforts, the Foundation has invested more than $5 million in Golden.

 

Colorado Open Lands

Colorado Open Lands is a 501(c)3 nonprofit land trust that exists to protect Colorado’s land and water resources. We work primarily with private landowners to place voluntary agreements called conservation easements on their property. Their ranch stays their ranch, their farm stays their farm. The process is driven by the wishes of the landowner with the goal of protecting open space, water, and wildlife habitat – forever.

About Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado
Since 1984, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) has been motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado’s natural resources.

VOC works with conservation and land agencies and relies on thousands of people annually to provide a volunteer workforce for outdoor stewardship projects. These projects take place across Colorado – from city parks and open spaces, to grasslands and foothills, to alpine meadows and peaks.

Colorado Fourteeners Initiative protects and preserves the natural integrity of Colorado’s 54 14,000–foot peaks —the “Fourteeners”— through active stewardship and public education.

Colorado’s Fourteeners contain rare and fragile native alpine tundra ecosystems that are uniquely adapted to living on these high peaks. These tundra plants –some of which exist nowhere else on earth– are ill-adapted to being trampled by the estimated quarter-million people who climb these peaks every year. In many places, resource damage is past the point of natural recovery.
