Winter is definitely here in Colorado, and especially with all the snow we have been getting. We’ve been loving the new fall/winter boots we have been getting in here at Vital Outdoors. So here are our top picks to keep your feet cozy on these chilly days.

We have been loving Olukai’s booties this year, especially the Pehuea Hulu, which means Rising Wind in Hawaiian. They live up to their name as they have been perfect on these windy days. We have been loving the wool blend cover that keeps your feet warm while maintaining breathability. The outsole has been perfect on these cloudy days too with the ‘Wet Grip Rubber’. You can’t have a fall/winter boot list without a Blundstone, and we have been really excited about the 1351 Women’s Series this year. The women’s specific fit adds a little height to the boot, which is perfect for days when the snow gets a little high. The thicker tread patterns are great for the snow also. Comfortable all day, we have been loving these as a boot to wear to work and a boot to wear around the town on those colder nights. Pair it with some SmartWool socks and you won’t be wanting to take this boot off even after being on your feet all day.

Sorel - Emelie Chelsea - $150.00

For those rainy days, we have been loving the Emelie Chelsea ankle boot from Sorel. This waterproof bootie keeps your feet dry on the rainiest of days and keeps you looking good while doing so. With a sturdy heel, it looks good at the office or at the bar, but is comfortable to be on your feet for those long days while traveling. These booties even have great traction which is perfect for when it starts to get a little icy after the sun goes down. They are easy to slip on and off, making it great for kicking up your feet right when you get home.

Merrell - Andover Bluff - $150.00

Another of our favorite booties, Merrell’s Andover Bluff waterproof boot has held up great on wet days when needing to do a lot of walking. It has great grip and durable traction that helps on those slick streets. A great, lightweight boot for traveling, we loved the versatility the Andover Bluffs gave us for traveling. One of our favorite casual boots, the Elena Mid from Keen is great for those really chilly days. Think below 0°F! It may be warm, but the Elena Mid still maintains its breathability to keep your feet dry. Water resistant with high traction grip, this shoe is designed to look more like a sneaker, without losing your favorite abilities of a boot. This boot is great for long days on your feet, and we loved the look whether it was during days of classes or exploring new places with friends.
